This topic is dear to my heart since I am a mother of a boy! I come from a country that views intact as a norm, but believe it or not, I was ready to circumsize my first baby if she was a boy. Then with our second I already knew to think for myself instead just going with a flow. So I sit down to research Circumcision, I type the word in a Google search and then the first link I click was selling supplies for it!! I was SHOCKED! Those looked like torchure gadgets, I would not let my boy anywhere near those things!!! That was enough. So I urge all the new parents - research before you make that important decission for your little boy!

I was ready to circumcise my son because it was the "normal" thing to do, when my (intact) dad asked me, "Why?" So I looked into it, and realized how horrible it truly is. I'm proud to say I'm the mother of an intact boy. :)
YES!!! If we just stop and ask, 'WHY', we really fail to find a good reason...
